Justin Timberlake seems like a pretty cool guy overall—solid musician, decent actor, overall good person—but never in my wildest dreams would I think to spend 200 hours obsessively creating a giant portrait of his face.

That's exactly what 21-year-old Ukrainian artist Zen Palagniuk did, and the results are insane.

The portrait, titled For Justin Timberlake, took 200 hours to complete. That's approximately 197 hours more than I would have had patience for, but I guess true artists are willing to sacrifice for their art.

In addition to the time and ridiculous patience required to complete this work of art, Palagniuk also used 24 kilometers (almost 15 miles) of black string and 13,000 nails. Super casual, no big deal.

The details, like the "shading" of JT's famous coif, are impressive to say the least, but I can't seem to get past the video. We get a very intimate look at the artist's process, from which tools he uses to what shoes he wears. (Seriously, what's with the shots of the shoes? They come up a few more times than I would like.)

As you can see in the video from Vova Zagranovsky above, this was a labor of love that required intense planning and near-flawless execution, which is why it's so entertaining that the final product is a massive portrait of Justin Timberlake.

String art and detailed portraiture are characteristic of Palagniuk's style, as you can see from his Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. He also has a YouTube channel you can subscribe to, where you can see him giving Michael Jackson the string art treatment. Check his pages out to see what famous face he'll fanatically tackle next.
